Healing the land, growing community

Sowing Seeds of change

At The Sustainable Living Project (SLP), we believe that growing food grows people. Nestled on a one-acre urban farm in the heart of Tampa, we use sustainable agriculture as a tool to heal, educate, and empower our community.

Our Mission

The Sustainable Living Project (SLP) is dedicated to educating and empowering communities through hands-on experiences in urban agriculture, environmental stewardship, and community-focused activities. We provide inclusive, accessible programming that fosters health, resilience, and innovation, inspiring individuals to create a more sustainable future.

Why it matters

Our food system is increasingly disconnected from the people it serves. Many communities lack access to the skills and space needed to grow their own food. At SLP, we are changing that! Teaching practical food production, building resilience, and reconnecting people with nature and each other.

grow

Every bed, bee, and compost bin is part of a living classroom where all are invited to explore.

The Heart of What We Do

nourish

Our growing space cultivates more than just food, it grows confidence, skills, and hope for the future.
